NYRAG Chooses LICF as Featured Foundation in Annual Report

New York Regional Association of Grantmakers (NYRAG) announced that the Long Island Community Foundation will be featured in NYRAG's 2005 Annual Report as a foundation whose grantmaking represents the highest ideals in philanthropy.

"This is a great honor," said Suzy Sonenberg, executive director, "because of the extraordinary foundations that are headquartered in the region."

NYRAG is the regional association for grantmaking organizations, including community, corporate, family, and public foundations. NYRAG strangthens regional philanthropy by offering programs and resources that support effective, strategic grantmaking.
