David Awards Breakfast Honored LICF Advisory Board Member Al Jordan

On Thursday, January 18th, Networking Magazine hosted its sixth annual David Awards Breakfast at the Crest Hollow Country Club. This year Aldustus Jordan, III, Ed.D. was among the honorees. Mr. Jordan is a member of the Long Island Community Foundation's advisory board and serves as the Chair of the ERASE Racism, the LICF initiative that is now an independent nonprofit organization.

Dr. Jordan is Associate Dean for Student & Minority Affairs at Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

Along with Dr. Jordan, Networking is honoring: Dwight De Risi, M.D.; Don Dreyer; Alec Ornstein; Thomas P. Rosicki, Esq.; Dr. Robert A. Scott; Honor Paul Jude Tonna; and Daniel P. Walsh.

For anyone who attended, Dr. Jordan's acceptance speech was heartfelt and inspiring to those who dedicate their lives to the public good.
