Click here to see a complete list of grants approved by our Board of Advisors this year. Our grants are focused on protecting and preserving Long Island’s natural resources; alleviating hunger; supporting hospital programs that provide health care to the underserved; promoting equal access to education; strengthening programs that prevent violence toward our youth; advancing the production of adequate and affordable housing on Long Island; encouraging and showcasing Long Island arts and culture; and facilitating collaboration among nonprofits and capacity building initiatives. Funding to support these grants is drawn from community response and field-of-interest funds established by our generous donors who have allocated all or portion of their fund income to support LICF grantmaking.
